While the fairy was out, a security guard knocked on the door of the Winnebago. Tree pulls him into the vehicle, the fairy holds him down, and S-Man beat him with a mace. He survives the beating, and Tree kills him with a knife to the throat.

Codex takes his uniform, ID badge, key card, and comlink and gets past the fence through a security checkpoint. The last thing he hears is "Hey Chris, is that you?"
